Vehicle Description
WoW! We have bought, reconditioned, and resold over 180 Discovery D2s in the last decade but few have excited us as much as this one! Obviously, the prospect of getting a 54,000 mile 23- year old Discovery in excellent condition is in and of itself a cause for applause, but the modifications we've made really change the proposition. Please take the time to read the following specifications carefully to get the full picture:
UNDER THE HOOD:
-Engine has been compression tested and chemically internally sealed with Moroso "nanotechnology" ceramic sealant after coolant flush.
-Major engine service with Castrol Classic GTX and AC Delco Dexcool.
-New coils, plugs and wires w coil pack relocation (get the coils out from behind the engine where they run hot and are expensive to service).
-Coolant system overhaul with the revolutionary inline Thermostat conversion and unbreakable custom aluminum reservoir tank. Truck runs a cool 185, fully 25 degrees below the norm of '04s, all day long! New hoses and line.
-Exhaust resonator deleted for smooth-sounding twin exhaust tips.
-All fluids checked or changed as needed.
-New air filter and waterproof and air box inlet sleeve.
-ABS module rewire to eliminate "3 Amigos" issue.
THE BODY:
-No accidents body with rust-free chassis.
-Raptor polyurethane textured roof coating for maximum durability.
-Expertly recondition wheel flares to "as-new" condition.
-"D2" outline hood decal in non-reflective black.
-New 3M anti-UV window tint.
-New windshield.
-New wiper cowl and A-pillar coverings.
-New wiper inserts.
-LED lighting upgrade on hi/lo headlight, factory fogs, side-markers, license light, reverse lamps, and interior courtesy lights.
-New brakes with Akebono rotors and LR front pads.
-Extended stainless steel brake lines.
-New body lettering in gloss black and new style silver on black logos.
OFF-ROAD AD-ONS:
-Original equipment Safety Devices roof rack w 4ft farm jack.
-Six 7" high-output LED driving lights wired directly to battery and featuring bright LED Daytime Running elements in bright orange or switchable to white.
-Two LED worklights at rear switched from inside rear door and front seat.
-Snorkel waterproofed all the way to the airbox.
-Goliath brand front steel bumper with 12k Terrafirma cordless remote winch with carbon fiber cable.
-Custom modification (bullet-holes?) to grill for improved air flow.
-Goliath steel rear bumper with built in corner caps.
-Voyager large-tube ladder.
-OE "Trail Edition" rock sliders.
-Five 31.6" BFG KO2's on 16" Terrafirma "steelies" with custom hub-caps.
-Old Man Emu (OME) Heavy duty shocks and springs.
-Adjustable Terrafirma steering damper.
-Paint color matched shackles.
-OE steel rear light guards.
-Terrafirma headlight guards.
-All exterior mounting hardware upgraded to stainless steel.
INSIDE THE TRIUCK:
-New custom black headliner installed after complete reseal of sunroof drains.
-9" BOSS touchscreen w rear camera, wireless CarPlay.
-All new door 6.25" Polk 2-way door speakers with 100w Polk amp. Subwoofer added.
-Rebuilt instrument cluster cover.
-New "leather-like" lever covers.
-OE style All Weather mats.
