1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Sports Coupe.
Sold new at Mandeville Chevrolet in North Attleboro Massachusetts.
In 1930 Donia Mandeville took over day-to-day operations of Mandeville Chevrolet.
Mr Albert Howe of Fall River, Massachusetts, purchased this 1951 Chevy brand new.
After 2 years of ownership Mr Howe traded his 1951 Chevy back to Mandeville Chevrolet.
Mrs Mandeville decided to make this 1951 Chevy her personal demo.
Mrs Mandeville drove this 1951 Chevy for a number of years. When she retired the car was
placed in the dealeship showroom on display. At the time this Chevy had around 38k miles on her.
Around 2000, Mandeville Chevrolet was sold to a new owner. One stipulation with the sale was that this 1951 Chevy had to stay with the new dealership. At this time the new dealership owner had the car mechanically gone through. Then, He had their body shop bring this car down to bare metal and apply a high quality black paint job.
For the next 25 years this Chevy has been on display for all new Chevy buyers to see.
Once a month this Chevy was driven around the block, detailed and put back on display.
Today the dealership is set to change hands again after all these years.
So for the first time since 1953 this 1951 Chevrolet is available for sale to the public.
Today the odometer reads 39,468 miles. The current Rhode Island title shows "Actual mileage".
We have the dealer invoice & Original Owners manual. We also found some very interesting facts & pictures on the net.

Correct in every way engine bay. Proper colors, Clamps, Decals etc. You cannot hear this car running at idle.

This 1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Sports Coupe is the very best example we've ever seen.
For a one-repaint car, it's exquisite. A wonderful running & driving 75 year old time capsule.
